Important Information for Students Applying for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 School Year

Open House on November 21st from 10a-1p

When you complete your application, you will receive a confirmation email.  Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder for this email and mark it as Not Spam/Junk.  This will ensure that you are up to date on the process and will receive any communications that we send.

***Please use a parent/guardian email when applying or registering for an event. Student school emails do not work.***

Class of 2026 (2022-23 School Year)

We are now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year.

The priority deadline for all member town students to complete the application process, which includes the receipt of all required records, a Minuteman recommendation form (page 3 of application), and an interview with Admissions, is February 15th.

Class of 2025

We are currently maintaining a waiting list for our 9th grade class.  We do not anticipate accepting any students at this time. 

If you would like to be placed on the waiting list please submit an application and have your school send your 8th and 9th grade academic, attendance, conduct records, and recommendation form (page 3 of application) to s.murphy@minuteman.org.

Class of 2024

It is unlikely that we will be accepting transfers for the 2021-22 school year for the Class of 2024.  If seats do become available, we will only consider applicants who are interested in the Carpentry or Plumbing CTE programs.

If you would like to be considered, in the event a seat becomes available, please submit an application and have your school send your 8th and 9th grade academic, attendance, conduct records, and recommendation form (3rd page of application) to s.murphy@minuteman.org.

Class of 2023

It is unlikely that we will be accepting transfers for the 2021-22 school year for the Class of 2023.  If seats do become available, we will only consider applicants who are interested in the Horticulture and Plant Science CTE program.

If you would like to be considered, in the event a seat becomes available, please submit an application and have your school send your 9th and 10th grade academic, attendance, and conduct records to s.murphy@minuteman.org.


Important Application Dates

February 15

Deadline for resident students to complete the application process for March 1st review, including the receipt of all required records, the Minuteman Recommendation Form, and an interview with the Admissions Office.

March 1

Notification of acceptance, denial, or wait list for resident student applications submitted by February 15th.

March 8

Resident students must confirm acceptance of offer of enrollment

March 15

Final deadline for any student (resident or nonresident) to complete the application process including the receipt of all required records, the Minuteman Recommendation Form, and an interview with the Admissions Office for any seats that become available.

March 22
Notification of acceptance, denial, or wait list if seats remain
March 29

Student must confirm acceptance of offer of enrollment

April 1

Deadline to file Chapter 74 Vocational Technical Nonresident Student Tuition Application with the Superintendent of the nonresident student’s district-of-residence

May 1

Final deadline to submit all supplemental paperwork. Students who do not complete all necessary paperwork may not be allowed to enroll.

Minuteman Students Working Essential Jobs Featured in Education Week


On May 12, 2020, Minuteman High School students Andrew Stanley, a freshman biotechnology major from Arlington, and Robbie Finnegan, a senior electrical major from Needham, along with Superintendent-Director Edward A. Bouquillon, were featured in an article in Education Week that highlighted the strengths and challenges of career technical education schools, such as Minuteman, during the coronavirus crisis. Mass. Reading Association Honors Minuteman With Exemplary Reading Award


Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School announced on May 13, 2020, that the Massachusetts Reading Association (MRA), an organization that promotes literacy, has honored Minuteman with its Exemplary Reading Program Award. (Read more)



Minuteman High School and Adult Students Work Essential Technical Jobs During COVID-19 Crisis


During the week of May 11-15, the Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District will use social media to highlight high school and adult students who are working in-demand, essential trade jobs during the height of the coronavirus crisis. With career majors such as Health Assisting, Biotechnology, Electrical, Engineering, and others, which are offered at Minuteman High School for grades 9-12 and Minuteman Technical Institute for adults, Minuteman students are finding their skills are strongly desired in these unprecedented times. Minuteman High School Recognizes 12 Outstanding Seniors from Class of 2020


Twelve students from the Class of 2020 at Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School were recently recognized as “Outstanding Seniors” shortly before the coronavirus emergency closed schools in March. The 12 seniors were treated to a luncheon with Minuteman administrators in the school’s student-run restaurant, The District Café. (Read more)


Minuteman Students, Superintendent Create Face Masks At Home for Medical Workers


LEXINGTON – Friday, April 3, 2020 – Several members of the Minuteman High School community are doing their part to fight COVID-19 – from creating face masks to helping a local hospital expand its capacity to care for coronavirus patients. (Read more)


Minuteman Donates Personal Protective Equipment to Local Police and Fire Departments, Emerson Hospital


On Monday, March 23, 2020, Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School donated more than 300 packages of various personal protective equipment to the Lexington and Lincoln police and fire departments, along with Emerson Hospital in Concord, to assist in the coronavirus response.
